Electric Boogaloo (1980)

According to WIKIPEDIA, “Electric boogaloo or electric boogie is a style of funk dance and street dance closely related to popping. It became the signature style of the dance group started in 1977 called the Electric Boogaloos, a group that popularized popping and many of its related styles.

The skeptical MC interviewing the group members is hilarious.

Also, the awesome jam that they pop, creep and boogaloo to is “Up in Here” by the Bar-Kays.

(Finally, please note that this video features a bad ass moonwalk that precedes MJ’s by 3 solid years.)

Just like you, man. I got the shotgun, you got the briefcase. All in the game, though, right?
